Annual Bee Festival

Greenfield Bee Fest was founded by Second Congregational Church in 2010 to celebrate the work of Rev. Lorenzo Langstroth, minister of the church in the mid-1800s. A philosopher/scientist, and author of Langstroth’s Hive and the Honey-Bee, he is known throughout the world as the father of modern beekeeping,

Over the years, Greenfield Bee Fest has grown to include multiple area artists, businesses, and agricultural organizations.

Easter Sunday

Easter is the most special day in the entire year for Christians.  For the year of 2021, due to the pandemic, we will be holding a Zoom online virtual Easter service at 10:00 a.m., April 4, 2021.

We would love to have you join us on Easter Sunday to experience some of the profound mystery and joy that lies at the center of our faith.   Please contact our church office if you would like to learn more about our Easter Service in 2021 at office@greenfieldsecondchurch.com .

Often during the 5 weeks leading up to Easter, a season known as Lent, we usually have a thematic Sermon Series that helps prepare us for Easter Sunday.
This year, our Lenten worship series, drawing upon the faithful experience and wisdom of John Lewis as shared in Across That Bridge – A Vision for Change and the Future of America, continues each Sunday in our Zoom worship, as we reflect upon the gifts of patience, faith, peace, love, and many other topics.
