The four weeks before Christmas, traditionally called Advent, is a time of preparation. It’s a time to slow down, empty your life of the busy-ness, and to wonder what this new birth might mean to your faith this year.
Each Sunday of Advent is celebrated at our usual 10:00 a.m. worship service. Our Christmas Eve candlelight service is usually at 5:30 p.m.
We usually have an Advent Workshop immediately after church at the start of Advent. Kids and families can make all sorts of great crafts and decorations to help celebrate the Christmas Season.
Towards the middle of Advent we usually hold our annual afternoon Christmas Pageant followed by a Mac & Cheese Dinner. Always a great time! All are welcome to come and be part of this.
December 31st (New Years Eve) is a special evening Taize’ worship service with candles, poetry, and readings. ‘Taize’ (pr. ‘TAH-zay’) is a French monastic community that developed this worship gathering style that has spread across the globe.
